RSTA Hiring Winter Swim Manager

RSTA is hiring!

Although RSTA Summer Swim is our largest and best known program, RSTA is also committed to providing swim opportunities the remainder of the year through our Winter Swim program. This program offers participants the opportunity to continue their swim development from September through May. It is hosted at the Reston Community Center, where coaches work with swimmers to improve their stroke techniques and endurance.

In order to manage the Winter Swim program successfully, RSTA is seeking to appoint a Winter Swim Manager responsible for the day-to-day running of the program as well as the recruitment and management of the coaching staff. The ideal candidate for this position must have at least four years of swim coaching experience and must be lifeguard certified. Preferably, they will have an understanding of the RSTA league and/or an interest in sports management.

This position is paid hourly with an estimated 7-10 working hours per week during the season. The Winter Swim Manager must be available to work on some weekends to supervise Saturday and Sunday swim practices as needed.
